NIBM collaborates with UNDP to promote social innovation and entrepreneurship
UNDP appreciates NIBM priorities to promote social innovation and entrepreneurship including the initiation of the Critical Enabling Skills and Training (CREST) Module, assisting youth to develop future-fit skills and pursue endeavors which contribute positively to Sri Lanka’s development. The module and the related efforts within the domain of social innovation and entrepreneurship aligns with the work undertaken through HackaDev – UNDP Sri Lanka’s umbrella programme on youth leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship. Collaboration is inclusive of conducting research, advocating for Youth Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, exploring complementarities with the HackaDev Academy of Learning and Skills at UNDP, conducting social innovation camps for incubation support, and exploring other potential areas of mutual interest.
