First year undergraduates of BSc (Hons) Global Logistics programme (Full time) visited Hela Clothing, Thihariya plant on 21st September 2022. This industry visit was organized as a partial requirement of the programme curriculum focusing on enhancing practical exposure to the Apparel sector. Students received the opportunity to understand the entire process of production at Hela Clothing starting from cutting to end packaging. Really grateful to Dr. Himendra Balalle for the support in contacting Hela Clothing to arrange this visit for students. Further, Special appreciate should go to Ms. Lakmini Rangika and Ms. Kasuni Mawalagedara from Hela Clothing Head Office and Staff Members from the factory for all the support given.
