We gathered at the Center for Banking Studies of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka to celebrate the grand inauguration of NIBM School of Business’s degree programs on 2nd of November 2023. Notable figures in the industry, including Dr. D.M.A Kulasooriya, the Director General of NIBM, Dr. Dharmasri Kumarathunga; The Former Assistant Governer of Central Bank of Sri Lanka, and Mr. Damith Pallewaththa, the Deputy General Manager of Wholesale Banking Group PLC graced the event.
Mr. Pallewaththa delivered an insightful keynote address. With over 350 participants, the event marked the inaguration of BA (Hons) Management and Leadership, BA (Hons) Human Resource Management, BA (Hons) Professional Accounting, and BSc (Hons) Digital Banking and Finance programs. It’s the start of an exciting journey for students poised to impact the business and finance sectors.
