Event Management pathway at NIBM School of Business celebrated the joy of witnessing a trend-setting student event-Xplore Eve24 organized by the latest Advanced Certificate in Event Management ACEM 23.2 PT batch which held on 11th May 2024 at NIBM School of Business Auditorium. The learning partners have organized this as part of their practical assessment of executing a real event at the end of the ACEM program.
The theme of Xplore Eve24 based on glamorous wedding planning sector in event management. The event went as an interactive panel discussion. Mr Hemant Dadlani, one of the most celebrated wedding and event planner/founder of Hemant Dadlani Weddings and Events Private Limited has shared his insightful 15 years of destination wedding planning experience locally and internationally. Being the distinguished panel speaker of XploreEve24 Mr Dadlani was able to share his vast experiences as a founder of one of the leading, prominent and most reputed event planning companies in Sri Lanka offering unique and one-of-a-kind wedding experience to his clientele. He was generous enough to discuss how he has started the company 15 years back, limitations during that time, challenges of accomplishing each client’s vision, how technology plays a big part in modern event management and the futuristic phase of the event management. The enthusiastic audience has actively engaged with Mr Dadlani during the Q&A session.
End of the panel discussion, the audience had a great time to network, get to know about NIBM Event Management academic pathway and engage with Mr Dadlani in fruitful conversations. Also, the entertainment segment was colourfully presented by Sirasa Voice Teen artist Erandi Heshani and the team.
