Software Engineering (Full Time)

The Higher National Diploma in Software Engineering (Full-Time) is a specialized program designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in software development, data analysis, and emerging technologies. The curriculum is structured to give a strong foundation in core areas such as programming, data structures, and algorithms, along with enterprise application development, allowing students to develop robust, scalable applications.

In the first semester, students will explore advanced database management systems, digital image processing, and statistics for computing, equipping them with the analytical tools and technical skills to work with large datasets and develop sophisticated software solutions. The second semester focuses on advanced topics like mobile application development, machine learning for AI, and software security, ensuring students are prepared for cutting-edge challenges in the software industry.

The program also includes data warehousing and data mining, Internet of Things (IoT), and an industry placement, providing real-world experience in application development and system security. Students will further enhance their skills in IT management practices and entrepreneurship, culminating in an Innovations and Entrepreneurship Project.
