The Advanced Certificate Course in Manufacturing Management is designed for individuals with a G.C.E. A/L qualification and over six months of industry experience, or those with a G.C.E. O/L qualification and more than one year of industry experience in any public or private sector organization. This course focuses on key areas of manufacturing management, offering students the expertise needed to enhance productivity and efficiency in manufacturing environments.
The course begins with an Introduction to Manufacturing Management, providing students with foundational knowledge of the field. It then covers Productivity and Industrial Safety, emphasizing the importance of maximizing efficiency while maintaining a safe working environment. Students will also learn about Manufacturing LEAN Process Design, equipping them with tools to eliminate waste and improve process flow. The course includes Equipment and Facilities Maintenance, teaching students how to maintain and optimize production assets.
A key focus of the program is the Quality Aspect in Manufacturing Management, ensuring students understand how to maintain high standards throughout production. The course also explores Manufacturing Supply Chain, providing insights into the logistics and coordination required for efficient manufacturing operations. This course will help students enhance their managerial skills and prepare them for leadership roles in manufacturing and industrial sectors.
