This programme is aimed to deliver the knowledge that a student need to have in order to manage a Tourism and Hospitality operation. This Diploma programme integrate practical career-based components with a variety of fundamental management disciplines that will be beneficial as the individual’s career grows. The programme consequently provides the practicalities needed for the workplace with the theory needed to advance in managerial roles and in education.
The speciality in this programme is the workshops provided which are affiliated with one of the pioneers in the Sri Lankan Tourism and Hospitality Industry. These workshops provide the practical know-how on the four disciplines of Tourism and Hospitality operations.

Those students who choose the Tourism and Hospitality path over Tourism Industry from the Advanced certificate course can follow this programme.

Entry Requirements

  • Those who have completed Bachelor’s Degree and employed.

OR

  • G.C.E A/L qualification with more than 3 years of working experience in the relevant field.

OR

  • G.C.E O/L qualification with more than 5 years of working experience in the relevant field.

OR

  • Advanced certificate in Tourism and Hospitality Management offered by NIBM.

OR

  • Advanced Certificate (SLQF level 2, NVQ level 4) offered by a recognized institute with more than 1 years of working experience in the relevant field.

OR

  • Those who are completed one-year foundation course and employed in the relevant field.
