The focus for BSc (Hons) Global Logistics, awarded by Coventry University, UK, isto apply appropriate knowledge and analytical techniques to solve a broad range of logistics-related tasks across the industry. There is a strong emphasis on professional and innovative working practices, with an awareness of fundamental theoretical and analytical approaches.
Key is the continued access to industry (and research) standard apparatus and software. In addition, asignificant component of the degree is the individual project, which allows the student to demonstrate the skills they have learned within a professional context.
The individual project is bespoke, research, and industry-inspired, and particular to each student with specific aims and objectives that are matched to their strengths and career aims. In addition, it reinforces and builds on aspects of topics they have learned during their course.
Upon completing this degree, you will receive a qualification awarded by Coventry University.
Entry Requirements
For entry into Year 1: Advanced Diploma in Logistics Management
Those who have sat for General Certificate of Education in Advanced Level (GCE A/L) and qualified with a minimum of three (03) simple passes are eligible for the first year of the degree program
OR
Those who have sat for General Certificate of Education in Advanced Level (GCE A/L) and have not obtained three (03) simple passes shall follow Certificate Course in Logistics Management (CCLM) during the first year of the degree program
OR
Those who have completed the General Certificate of Education in Ordinary Level (GCE O/L) / Edexcel Ordinary Level / Cambridge Ordinary Level shall follow the Foundation Program and complete to become eligible to enter for the first year of the degree program
For entry into Year 2: Higher National Diploma in Logistics Management
Those who have completed the course work of the Advanced National Diploma in Logistics Management (Full Time) program are eligible to enter the Higher National Diploma in Logistics Management (second year of the degree).
OR
Those who have completed the Advanced Diploma level program from the NIBM or a recognized institution (upon validation of the Diploma by NIBM) are eligible to enrol for the Higher National Diploma in Logistics Management (second year of the degree)
For entry into Year 3: BSc (Hons) Global Logistics
Those who have completed the Higher National Diploma in Logistics Management from the NIBM are eligible to enroll for the final year of the degree
