What is your next education pathway?

The Diploma in Sound and Music Technology is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of audio engineering, sound design, and music production. Throughout this two-year program, students will gain hands-on experience and technical knowledge in both analogue and digital audio systems, including working with audio workstations, microphones, and speakers. They will also learn about the fundamentals of human hearing, sound foundations, and the complete audio chain, providing them with a strong base for professional sound production.

In the first year, students will dive into topics such as recording techniques, music training, and the basics of music composition and arrangement. The second year expands on these skills with more advanced topics like MIDI programming, live sound, audio mastering, and studio acoustics. Practical modules in audio post-production and digital imaging are also incorporated, preparing students for the evolving demands of the audio industry.

By the end of the program, students will be proficient in creating, mixing, and mastering sound for various platforms, from music production to video and live events. They will also acquire valuable knowledge in music business, law, public relations, and career management, ensuring they are well-prepared for a successful career in the sound and music technology industry.
