The course begins with an exploration of the Evolution of Psychology, offering students a historical context for the field. It then delves into Psychological Problems, helping students recognize and understand common mental health issues. Basic psychological concepts will also be covered, laying the foundation for further study in the field.
Students will gain an introduction to Counselling Studies, learning key theories and techniques used in providing psychological support. The course also focuses on developing essential academic skills, such as Academic Presentation Skills and Academic Writing, which are crucial for success in higher education and professional settings.
Additionally, basic Mathematics courses will be included to support the quantitative aspects of psychology research and analysis.
